In Nawada, Bihar, women lack access to basic health products, earn no independent income, and are excluded from economic decisions. This is not a distant problem — it is happening now, in specific villages, with specific families we know by name.

Ananda Foundation has minimal overhead. Our founder lives and works in the community. There are no expensive offices, no consultant fees, no corporate structures. When you donate ₹1,000, nearly all of it reaches the people it's meant for.

Frequently asked questions

Is my donation tax-deductible?+

We are working on obtaining 80G certification, which will allow donors to claim tax deductions under the Income Tax Act. Please write to us for the current status. All donations are acknowledged with a formal receipt.

How will I know my donation was received?+

Every donation is acknowledged with a receipt within 24 hours. For larger donations (₹10,000+), we will arrange a personal update from our founder Anand Deo on how the funds are being deployed.

Can I donate in Euros, Dollars or other currencies?+

Yes — international donations are welcome. Please write to anandafoundation1@gmail.com and we will provide SWIFT/international transfer details. Currency conversion fees may apply depending on your bank.

Can I specify which program my donation goes to?+

Absolutely. You can designate your donation to a specific program — menstrual health, beekeeping training, medical camps, or the pad manufacturing unit campaign. Just mention this in your email when you write to us.

Can my company make a CSR donation to Ananda Foundation?+

Yes — we welcome CSR partnerships. Write to us at anandafoundation1@gmail.com for a CSR proposal, MOU template and registration documents.

What percentage of my donation reaches beneficiaries?+

We aim to keep overheads as low as possible — the majority of donations go directly to program costs. Because our founder and team operate from within the community, there are no high-cost external staff or facilities. Full financial statements are available on request.

Can I volunteer instead of (or as well as) donating?+

Yes — skills-based volunteers are always welcome. We particularly need support with communications, graphic design, fundraising strategy, and health professionals who can join our medical camps. Write to us explaining your background and availability.
